VanIsleNet is a Vancouver Island business directory and community events calendar. Every listing is a real, verified local business: we confirm each one on its own website and write an original description, so what you find here is accurate, current, and actually local.

We built this because the Island deserves better than being an afterthought on the big platforms. No call centres, no scraped listings, no algorithm deciding who deserves to be found — just real Island businesses checked by hand, plus the markets, festivals and fairs that fill our calendar year-round. We're not trying to be the biggest list; we're trying to be the one you can trust. And when you find a plumber, a café, or a kayak guide in any of the Island's nine regions, your money stays in an Island community — that's the whole point.
