For event organizers
Run a hall, a community centre, a market or a festival? List every event free, and look after them yourself from one account.
Made for places that host a lot
Community halls, rec centres, churches, legions, libraries, theatres, wineries, farm markets and festival committees all keep a busy calendar. Your free organizer account keeps every one of your events together, so a monthly dance, a spring craft fair and a winter concert series are each a few clicks to add — and you never have to email anyone to change a date.
What you can do yourself
- Add new events whenever you book them — once we’ve approved one of yours, the next ones usually go live right away.
- Copy a repeat event to new dates: next year’s festival, next month’s dance. Copies wait as private drafts until you check them and press Publish, so nothing appears with the wrong date.
- Edit anything — dates, description, location, ticket price, website and poster.
- Post a notice such as “Cancelled tonight due to snow” that shows on the event instantly.
- See how many people opened each event’s page in the last 30 days.
- Every event gets add-to-calendar buttons, proper event markup for Google, and a spot on its region’s page.

Questions organizers ask
Does it cost anything?
No. Listing and managing events is free. If you’d like an event to stand out, you can optionally feature it for a one-time $15.
My event is already on VanIsleNet, but I didn’t add it.
Open the event’s page and use “Claim it to manage it yourself” near the bottom. If your email is at your event’s own website, it’s usually approved straight away.
We also have a business listing — is that a second account?
No. One sign-in covers both: your listing and your events appear together on your account page, as long as they use the same email address.
Someone else at our hall used to look after this.
Send us a note with the event and your email, and we’ll move the events over to you.
