Peninsula Gallery

Established in 1986, Peninsula Gallery occupies a permanent home on Bevan Avenue in the seaside town of Sidney, roughly half an hour from Victoria. Over the decades it has grown into one of the country's respected galleries, representing living Canadian artists of national standing, including Robert Bateman and Carol Evans, alongside emerging painters and sculptors. Visitors will find original paintings and sculpture, high-quality limited-edition prints and regularly changing spotlight exhibitions that introduce new bodies of work. Housed within the gallery is Mitchell Jones Custom Framing, run by a craftsman with more than thirty years in the trade who takes on projects of every size. Beyond sales and framing, the gallery offers a full slate of services for collectors and artists: fine-art appraisals, online consignment, printing, art hanging and installation, packaging, insured worldwide shipping, layaway payment plans and art classes. A monthly newsletter keeps patrons informed of new arrivals and upcoming shows.
