Good Things Consignments has been finding new homes for quality secondhand pieces in Oak Bay since 1994, when it grew out of the owners' antique business, The Old Vogue Shop. The idea was simple: create a place that consistently sold only good-quality, beautifully merchandised items, and the shop has expanded several times as it earned a devoted following. Sometimes called Victoria's best-kept secret, it is known as one of the busiest stores in town, putting out hundreds of new items every day. The ever-changing stock runs from antiques, art and vintage kitchenware such as Le Creuset and Crown Derby china to books, toys, jewellery and everyday household goods. Items are consigned on a two-month contract with a fifty-fifty split and two payouts, and prices are set through research, experience and mutual agreement.
