About
Fol Epi is an organic bakery and cafe in Victoria, established in 2009. The name translates roughly as "crazy wheat head," a nod both to French baking tradition and to the wild yeast cultures that leaven its loaves.
The bakery began as a small operation with a brick-fired oven and its own flour mill. Since then it has grown into a fixture of the local food scene, supplying breads and baked goods to other businesses around town. The counters carry naturally leavened breads, viennoiserie, pastries, savoury items, and seasonal specials, along with gift certificates for the bread lovers in your life.
Fol Epi works with small-scale local producers and aims to provide meaningful employment for its staff, positioning itself as part of a community-driven, honest food culture in Victoria.
