Camas brings chef-owned, casual fine dining to the seaside village of Lantzville, on the corner of Caillet and Lantzville Roads. Chef-owners Sarah and Taka cook in an open kitchen where guests can watch their plates come together, guided by a slow-food philosophy that keeps everything hand-made and scratch-made. The kitchen builds its dishes around local, seasonal ingredients, with local seafood a recurring highlight. Dinner service runs Thursday through Saturday, with seatings starting at 5 pm and last reservations at 8 pm, so booking ahead is wise for this small, locally focused room. Diners can settle into one of the intimate dining rooms or, in warmer months, out on the patio. Beyond regular service, Camas hosts hands-on culinary classes and events, occasionally closing for private functions and fundraisers, and sells gift cards.
