Gulf Island Kayaking is a family-owned kayak tour and rental company at Montague Harbour Marina on Galiano Island, founded in 1985 and billed as the original kayak outfitter in the Southern Gulf Islands. It runs half-day, full-day and multi-day guided kayak tours through sheltered waters and undeveloped coastline, and rents kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and bikes for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. In winter it also leads sea-kayak and natural-history tours in Costa Rica.
