Comox Valley Art Gallery is an independent public gallery run by a non-profit society on Duncan Avenue in Courtenay, presenting contemporary art. It shows work by professional artists from the region, across Canada and internationally, and runs exhibitions, publications, artist residencies, all-ages art projects, youth training, artist talks and a film series. Admission is free with donations encouraged, and it operates a gift shop featuring hundreds of local artists. Open Wednesday through Saturday.
