DESCRIPTION:The Port Alberni Toy Run is an annual charity motorcycle even
 t that has rolled through the Alberni Valley for more than four decades\,
  with the 42nd edition set for September 19 and 20\, 2026. Organized by t
 he Port Alberni Toy Run Society\, the weekend brings together hundreds of
  riders and community members to collect toys\, food and cash donations f
 or local families in need ahead of the holiday season. The centrepiece is
  a colourful motorcycle parade of decorated bikes riding through town\, d
 rawing spectators of all ages to the streets\, plus gatherings\, live mus
 ic and family activities across the weekend. It is a feel-good\, communit
 y-driven tradition that combines motorcycle culture with genuine local ge
 nerosity\, and everyone is welcome to line the route\, cheer the riders\,
  and contribute a new unwrapped toy or non-perishable donation. There is 
 no admission charge to watch or take part\; the spirit of the event is gi
 ving back. Riders\, clubs and families come from across Vancouver Island 
 to participate\, making it one of Port Alberni's signature autumn gatheri
